The BioArmband was created from a need as researchers for an affordable, multi-channel electromyography (EMG) wearable without having to compromise on the quality of the acquired biosignals. As such a device did not exist, we created it.
The BioArmband is a wireless, 8-channel EMG armband with a sampling rate of 1500Hz per channel and a 24h battery autonomy. In addition to its EMG capability, the BioArmband also features a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor, bioimpedance, a photoplethysmograph, a skin temperature sensor, and an electrocardiogram. In addition to its sensors, the armband can also provide visual and vibrotactile feedback.
First and foremost, the BioArmband is a tool to empower your research and projects. You record the data, you own the data. You have access to the raw output of all the sensors and there is no hidden proprietary data upload.
